Global Sourcing and Procurement Services is looking for a diverse team of talented people who support our culture of collaboration and innovation.

A key aspect of this role is building collaborative relationships with our internal business partners, as well as relationships with suppliers.

This position will actively manage multiple time-sensitive requests and support team members in interfacing with all levels of management, including executive leadership.

The Senior Sourcing Specialist executes on the overall category strategy and supports the sourcing process for professional services in partnership with leadership.

This position will actively manage and support multiple highly visible, time-sensitive activities, effectively interfacing with all levels of management, and efficiently ensuring the sourcing process is completed consistent with 's policies and goals.

Key performance areas for this Senior Sourcing Specialist position include :

• Support and / or lead all aspects of the sourcing processes for assigned suppliers , including but not limited to taking lead or supporting on contract negotiations of business and pricing terms and conditions, conducting research and providing benchmark data on pricing and / or other key terms and conditions, facilitating RFPs, and working with the internal business partners and Sourcing Manager to develop negotiations strategies, objectives and plans.
• Participate in cross functional sourcing project teams to develop 's requirements for professional services supplier requirements and to reach consensus on supplier selections.

This includes drafting necessary language to translate business needs into specific requirements for contract-related documents, e.

g. Statements of Work (SOW), Letters of Authorization (LOAs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), etc for assigned suppliers. This also includes supporting the team to reach consensus, meet milestones and complete contracting by business partner required dates.

• Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned spend categories.
• Provide guidance to Leadership on procurement strategies and maintain procurement ethics in accordance with 's global policies.
• Keep up to date with trends and best practices for professional services suppliers, including monitoring the supplier landscape and relevant regulatory changes impacting professional services category.
• Assess supplier performance to ensure suppliers fulfill their contractual obligations and are delivering quality services to business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree focused in related area (Business, Supply Chain)
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing and negotiating professional services agreements, or other related industry experience, which can include roles within health insurance industry or HR organization of Fortune 500 company
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier agreements in professional services category.
• Strong issue spotting skills and ability to identify, advocate and educate stakeholders regarding different potential outcomes and suggestions to resolve those issues
• Ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and collaborative leader
• Knowledge of best in class Sourcing, Contracting and Vendor Management processes
• Excellent relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively
• Extremely customer-focused, taking the time to understand the needs of the business

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in related area, such as Contracts, Business or Supply Chain
• 5+ years of experience practicing best-in-class procurement or operation processes (category management, bench-marking, TCO (cost models), RFX, etc.).
