Secondary Daily Supply Teacher
Location : Washington
Salary : £120 - £180 per day
Start : ASAP
GSL Education is looking for Secondary Daily Supply Teachers to cover various subjects in the secondary schools of our client schools in Washington .
Job Summary : The Secondary Daily Supply Teacher will cover short-term absences of classroom teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring continuity in students' learning
Responsibilities :
- Instruct various subjects for secondary students (KS3 and KS4).
- Cultivate an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and collaboration.
- Maintain positive behavior within the classroom to enhance the learning environment.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures for lesson delivery and student management.
- Offer feedback to regular teachers regarding student progress and conduct.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to foster student development and well-being.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have :
- Teaching Certification (QTS / PGCE or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of the secondary school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education.
- Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
