Americom Technology, LLC is currently seeking a full-time Mechanic / Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all types of equipment.
We own as well as maintain numerous types of equipment in our fleet including but not limited to : Ford Explorers, F-150’s, F-250’s, F-350’s, F-450’s, F-550’s, Ram 5500’s, Ram 2500’s, Chevrolet Express, Ford Transits.
We are looking for technicians with excellent diagnosis and repair skills. Class A CDL is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment
- Perform Safety Inspections
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair equipment for all types of failures
- Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts as needed
- Performing major repair work when necessary
- Fabricating, cutting, welding steel and aluminum
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
- Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks
- Drive to different locations to perform equipment maintenance from time to time
- Maintains service logs and records of maintenance performed on equipment, using a fleet management system
- Prepares work orders and parts cost estimates
- Keeps tools, equipment, and work area cleaned, organized, and in good working condition
- May assist in training co-workers in mechanical repair techniques
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older with the ability to work 40+ hours a week
- Have own mechanic tools
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Familiar with hydraulics and air systems
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Must have a valid drivers license and provide an MVR
