Direct Care Assistant for Adults up to $27 / hr
We are seeking dedicatedDirect Support Workers to assist residents with developmental and behavioraldisabilities. This role involves providing physical support to a small group ofadults, many of whom have mobility challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Assist individuals in habilitative, behavioral, and recreational activities
- Administer medications and communicate any issues to supervisors
- Offer physical support, including lifting and assistance with personal hygiene
- Help residents with daily living tasks, such as self-care, hygiene, leisure activities, and social interactions
- Operate state vehicles to transport individuals to work, recreational, and other engagements
Requirements :
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Own transportation and an active driver's license
- At least 6 months of direct care experience
