On behalf of our client, Procom Services is seeking a Chemist DNA Analytics to join thier growing team.
This role involves critical input and experimental tasks using advanced analytical techniques like LC and CE. Successful completion of the project could lead to a full-time equity employment position.
The role demands a high level of independence and excellent problem-solving skills in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities include :
- Performing LC and CE based method development specific to the project.
- Working independently on complex tasks.
- Collaborating effectively with team members including directors and scientists.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring a clean working environment.
- Keeping detailed records of research activities and preparing reports and presentations for team meetings.
Skills Required :
- MS or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
- Recent hands-on experience in nucleic acid analysis using chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques.
- Proven experience in a commercial or laboratory setting.
- Strong foundation in product and project development processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a robust work ethic.
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Proficiency in chromatography and separation technology applications.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills to meet project timelines.
- Background knowledge in DNA / RNA vaccines, DNA damage, and repair mechanisms is highly desirable.
- More than 5 years of experience in the related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
The project is set to commence immediately, considering the candidate's availability and required onboarding processes.
Location
This position is based in West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. The role is onsite to facilitate direct involvement with project activities and team interactions.
