As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming impression of the company.
Receptionist Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings
- Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
- Always ensure a high level of customer service
Receptionist Requirements :
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of office equipment, including phone systems and printers
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management is a plus
