What You'll Do :
This position is responsible for overseeing the everyday function of all assigned branch technology including ATMs, PTMs, Cash Recyclers, and Card@Once.
The Branch Technology Analyst provides support to branches along with being responsible for research requests. This position will assist in organizing data to optimize profit and meet financial and growth objectives as it relates to assigned branch technology.
Performance of these functions requires discretion, independent judgement and communication with staff and management.
Essential Functions :
- Manage ATM replenishments including cash vaults, settlement and scheduling
- Provide technical support to branch staff and other business units for hardware, software and network related issues as it pertains to all assigned branch technology
- Coordinate hardware and software procurement, maintenance and warranty support for all assigned branch technology
- Act as point of contact during branch technology related emergencies or outages. Assist with disaster recovery plans to minimize service disruptions
- Support branches as direct contact for all assigned branch technology including ATMs / PTM / Cash Recycler / Card@Once related questions including service request, transaction research, troubleshooting, and general functionality questions
- Manage user administrative privileges for various technology sites (Lockheed Aeronautical badge access ) and core access ( Diebold / Card@Once / Symitar )
- Assist in the maintaining of policies, procedures and workflow for assigned branch technology
- Assist in preparation of training materials and train staff on use, maintenance and functionality of branch equipment
- Review software releases, test and assist in the implementation of updates and / or enhancements as well as train staff on new processes and workflows
- Produce and maintain required reports for monitoring internal statistics related to assigned products
- Perform feedback analysis and prioritize functionality enhancements to benefit branch operations and member experience
- Review maintenance and service history of branch equipment to identify potential chronic issues that need to be addressed to ensure fleet of equipment is performing optimally with maximum uptime
- Review vendor invoices to ensure proper billing takes place. Tracking, reviewing, and approving or resolving discrepancies, if needed.
- Assist in managing internal and external infrastructure ( Symitar, VISA DPS, Catalyst, etc. ) for ATM / PTM / Cash Recyclers / Instant Issue installations.
This includes replacements of existing equipment and new installs
- Ensure that policies and procedures reflect external rules and regulations and are communicated to and implemented by branch staff
- Assist with new installs of assigned equipment including hardware and software. Perform testing to ensure performance and functionality meet requirements of Statement of Work and / or Purchase Order.
Work with vendors to identify and resolve hardware / software issues and facilitate changes as needed
- Must possess effective knowledge of the Credit Union's products and services.
- Serves as a liaison between development teams and the internal / external customer or end user
- Follows an established requirements gathering process to identify requirements
- Be familiar with and follow all policies, procedures and processes which have been established in order to meet compliance requirements of all applicable federal regulations.
The regulations include but are not limited to the Privacy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Reg. CC and Patriot Act.
Who you are :
- Required : 3+ years financial institution experience, preferably Credit Union experience
- Preferred : Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. Related experience will be considered
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must possess effective knowledge of the Credit Union's products and services
- Strong operational, organizational and communication skills that contribute to the overall organizational efficiencies
- Strong understanding of product planning, financial analysis, and market research
- Strong presentation development and written skills
- Proficient with - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Analytical ability, organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
