Dual Warehouse Specialist / Class B Driver

Position Description : Position Summary :

Our client, a reputable company in Euless, TX, is seeking a versatile Hybrid Warehouse Worker / Class B Driver to join their team.

This role involves spending 90% of the time performing warehouse duties and 10% of the time driving a Class B truck based on demand.

Candidates must have experience in both warehouse operations and driving a Class B truck. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and capable of handling both warehouse and driving responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Warehouse Duties (90%) :
• General Cleanup : Conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks both inside and outside the warehouse
• Pallet Management : Manage the efficient breakdown and reconstruction of pallets, handling materials carefully.
• Forklift Operation : Employ forklift clamp certification to assist in the restacking and movement of pallets and goods within the warehouse.
• Scanner Utilization : Utilize RF scanners to meticulously track inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations (preferred).
• Order Picking : Utilize order picker equipment to efficiently and accurately pick orders for shipment.
• Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) Operation : Utilize EPJ to move materials around the warehouse.
• Driving Duties (10%) :
• Dedicated Route Management : Operate daily routes to ensure timely delivery of flooring materials to commercial and residential locations.
• Efficient Loading and Unloading : Utilize electric pallet jacks and liftgate-equipped vehicles to load and unload flooring materials efficiently at each stop.
• Professional Communication : Serve as a frontline representative of the company to customers, ensuring smooth delivery operations and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications :

Experience : Demonstrated ability to effectively perform in a warehouse setting, with previous experience using RF scanners (preferred).

Must have 1-2 years of driving experience with a Class B truck, with a preference for those who have delivered to commercial and residential locations.

• Physical Requirements : Able to perform physically demanding tasks, capable of lifting 50-60 lbs of material throughout the day.
• Certifications : Required to possess current forklift clamp certification and experience with order pickers and EPJ.
• Valid Class B CDL : Current Class B Commercial Drivers License required.
