Responsibilities for the Boiler / Burner Service Technician :

• Install and commission new commercial boilers and burners, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, efficiently repair or replace faulty components, and adjust burners and controls as needed.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to analyze system performance and ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
• Communicate clearly with clients, explaining repairs, maintenance, and offering recommendations for system improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Be available for on-call emergency service to address critical boiler / burner issues.
• Stay current on industry best practices and new technologies through ongoing training and development.

Requirements for the Boiler / Burner Service Technician :

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boiler / Burner Technician
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial boiler and burner systems required.
• Completion of HVAC / Boiler Program Trade School experience a plus!
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in electrical systems and controls related to boilers and burners.
• Knowledge of combustion principles and gas safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
