Project Information Management Lead
Location : Houston, TX
Contract Position
Job Description
- Interact with internal stakeholders and compile business requirements related to Project Information Management and document control support.
- Develop Standards, Procedures and Work Instructions related to Information Management and Governance for different business functions related to Upstream Oil and Gas or LNG domain.
- Develop the taxonomy / master code lists for Information Management for LNG asset.
- Training on Document Control process and governance to functional groups.
- Work as Document control steward and conduct regular workshops for different business users to make them aware of the document control requirements
- Conduct monthly meetings with business stakeholders to ensure processes and procedures etc. are being adopted / adhered to and problems areas are being raised
- Proficient in using the EDMS tools like Omega Pims and Aconex from configuring initial setup to regular document management support
- Develop Power BI reporting dashboards to show the status of documents from Pims / Aconex
- Regular document transactional activities like document upload with necessary metadata, apply correct lifecycle stages of
- documents, create document workflows for reviews and approvals, manage correspondence documents
- Work with third party vendors for transition of documents to client EDMS tools
- Perform the Internal audits for Document metadata and identify document cleanup requirements.
Qualifications Basic
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree or foreign equivalent required
- At least 5 years of experience with Document Control and Project Information Management
Preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Information Management using Omega Pims or Aconex.
- At least 5 years of experience in Document control operations for different projects from Owner / operator or EPC companies in Oil and Gas domain.
Experience of working on LNG assets for Project Information Management is preferred.
- Experience of creating Information Management Standards, procedures and taxonomies for LNG assets
- Experience of creating training materials (BOKs, QRGs, etc.) and training the users in Document control requirements and influence the teams to follow the Information Governance principles
- Reporting Skills using Power BI dashboard configured to show the status of documents from Omega Pims or Aconex.
