Slakey Brothers has an immediate need for a Regional Sales Manager for HVAC Supplies and Plumbing to lead our Sales Team and growth of Customer relationships in our California Coast Region! Territory - Hayward, Salinas, San Jose, Sand City, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and South San Francisco Starting salary range - $125,000-$165,000 based on experience Duties & Responsibilities Develop and communicate clear strategies, programs, goals and expectations for Slakey's supplies and plumbing sales efforts.
Perform a full range of management responsibilities including effectively delegating work to members of Regional Sales Team.
Coach and mentor the Team Members to achieve regional sales and GP goals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Slakey Brothers’ customers, advocate for the customers and promptly report all customer service challenges or issues.
Drive interaction between Region Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Pricing, Logistics, Credit and Marketing to promptly serve Slakey Brothers’ customers and maximize sales.
Education / Experience / Skills Excellent knowledge of the products Slakey Brothers sells Comprehends Slakey Brothers’ Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warehouse and Delivery Functions 5+ years related management experience preferred Prior outside sales experience preferred Strong decision-making abilities - understands impact and implications of decisions Strong negotiation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills College degree preferred, but not required Why work for Slakey?
