The Quality Assurance Technician reads and interprets drawings, inspects products to ensure all specifications are met, and documents any non-conformances.

Must have worked in and have knowledge of AS9100 or ISO : 9001 Quality Management Systems.

What You’ll Do :

  • Inspects work products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints proficiently.
  • Have an aptitude for math and comprehend fractions, decimals and millimeters.
  • Interpretation and application of GD&T.
  • Promotes, contributes, and supports the Quality Management System.
  • Leads and trains QA inspectors.
  • Communicates with production, drafting, sales, and planning personnel over quality concerns or non-conformances.
  • Participate in training and development activities and apply the skills learned on the job.
  • Actively participates in safety programs, follows safety procedures and policies, and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Extensive use of metrology equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are :

  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and techniques.
  • Five (5) plus years of quality in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and / or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Working knowledge of fabrication (welding, fabrication, press brake, etc.)
  • Can read blueprints.
  • Available to work overtime as required.
