Patient Types :
IPR : Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Strokes, Multiple trauma, s / p COVID, medically complex / debilitating patients
Acute : Medically complex / debilitating patients
Outpatient : Pediatrics (developmental), Neuro specific diagnoses (higher functioning), Spinal patients (surgical & non-surgical)
Skilled Nursing : similar to IPR
Required Degree / Certifications :
ST : Current LA ST license
Skills required
Swallow evaluation, Video Swallow Study experience
Ability to manage a case load independently; experience with above mentioned patient types; working with the multidisciplinary team

Supervisor
Assistant Director
Most of the time, will be surrounded by other team members

Outpatient : Wellsky
Skilled Nursing : AOD - transitioning to Meditech Expanse
Floating :
No floating between facilities, unless otherwise specified
Orientation :
Attend a general hospital orientation + departmental and site specific orientation
2-3 days) - will have full case load by the end of the week
Scheduling :
Weekend rotation : no weekend coverage for Outpatient; IPR and Acute care - usually 1 per month
Can we approve time off? Discussed during interview
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
Holiday Expectations : No holidays
