Job Details
- Medical Physicist position available at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center.
- Senior Physicist role with 8-hour days.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Start Date : ASAP.
- Shift times vary between 6 : 30AM-6 : 00PM based on daily assignments.
- Responsibilities include maintaining the Quality Assurance (QA) program, evaluation and implementation of new technology and techniques, maintaining templates, checklists, and therapy equipment.
- Primary Case / Procedure Type : VMAT, SRS, SBRT, 3D planning.
Job Requirements
- Required Education : Master's, Doctorate or PhD.
- Minimum experience : 5+ years in specialty.
- Experience with Aria, Eclipse and Truebeam required.
- EMR : Epic preferred.
- Desired Specific Skillset : Experience with Aria, Eclipse and Truebeam.
Schedule Information
- Shift Length : 8-hour shifts.
- Shift Start and End Times : 6 : 30AM-6 : 00PM.
- Weekend Rotation Requirements to be discussed with Manager.
- Holiday Rotation Requirements : None.
Unit Specific Information
- Unit Overview : Collaborates with other senior staff on various tasks.
- Maintains therapy equipment in record and verify system.
- Provides radiation safety education to staff.
- Current Patient Ratio to be discussed with manager.
