Position Title : Equipment Finance Senior Credit Buyer

Business Unit : BCSI

Reports to : Bank Capital President

Position Overview :

This position is primarily responsible for supervising credit buyers and collections coordinators, evaluating and approving or disapproving loan requests for commercial leasing and loan products.

The incumbent reviews credit data which has been confirmed and verified for accuracy in order to evaluate creditworthiness of the applicant, determines and projects the profitability of the approved leases and makes loan approval recommendations to the Bank Capital President on the basis of creditworthiness and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities :

Provides lending authority to process applications within authority. Analyzes documentation provided from the processing unit to make a decision of approval or denial on lease applications.

Communicates with vendors and the sales staff.

Communicates to the sales team any lease, vendor or contract issues. Provides Credit Analysis support for decisions over their credit authority.

Ensures department adherence to regulatory and policy compliance.

Provides support to ensure all documentation is complete with minimal errors. Adheres to established policies and procedures and recommends new procedures and polices when appropriate.

Regularly reviews application, credit review and documentation procedures in order to improve overall production and response time.

Meets with other departments within FNB Equipment Finance in order to consolidate position responsibilities where ever possible.

Manages the collection process to ensure delinquencies are at or below standards set. Supervises the collection coordinators and reviews accounts receivables and delinquencies.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
