Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise mechanics and helpers in the installation and renovation of plumbing and fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute plumbing schedules efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate plumbing mechanics and helpers.
- Coordinate with other construction trades and contractors on-site.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and report to higher management as required.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and fire sprinkler installations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with NYC building codes and regulations.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- OSHA certification is required.
- References will be checked.
