Job Title : Cloudflare Zero Trust Engineer Location : Houston, TexasDuration : 6+ months POSITION OVERVIEW : Experienced Cloudflare Zero Trust Engineer to design, implement, and manage a Zero Trust security framework using Cloudflare's suite of products.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES : This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security measures are in place.
Design, implement, and manage Zero Trust security architecture using Cloudflare's Zero Trust services, including Access, Gateway, and Remote Browser Isolation.
Develop and enforce security policies that align with Zero Trust principles, ensuring least privilege access and continuous authentication.
Integrate Cloudflare Zero Trust solutions with existing identity providers (IDPs) and Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms. Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures with existing infrastructure and applications.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Zero Trust best practices and Cloudflare security tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity and Zero Trust architecture.
Collaborate with CloudFlare's engineering teams to streamline and improve our existing Zero Trust security architecture as well as evaluate our existing security policies for more clear and efficient processing.
Document and track out current Zero Trust design and maintain an ongoing problem log for known technical and security issues.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS) : Deep experience in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), with a strong preference for specific CloudFlare experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.
g., CISSP, CISM, SANS, CEH) are a plus. Proven experience in implementing and managing Zero Trust security models. Strong knowledge of Cloudflare products, including Access, Gateway, RBI, and related technologies.
Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) solutions, SSO, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems. Experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and security monitoring tools.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (O365, Azure, Oracle) and their security features
