Tax Manager

Responsibilities :
- Manage the overall process in the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns and tax payments of the Company group.
- Manage various tax related schedules and monitor the dissemination of data that is utilized in the preparation and filing of income tax returns from various corporate divisions within the Company.
- Manage federal and state income tax audits and state inquiries.
- Review monthly general ledger tax account reconciliations and tax accrual account analysis.
- Develop tax positions after research has been conducted by the team to ensure that Company minimizes its income tax expense through tax planning ideas.
- Manage the overall Abandoned and Unclaimed Property procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years recruitment experience or equivalent job-related experience; Retail experience preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience working with tools of the trade , including resume databases, internet sourcing tools and spreadsheets
- Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity with demonstrated experience and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
- Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and research skills
