As an Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager, you will be instrumental in enhancing our online visibility and driving organic traffic to a fashion brand’s e-commerce platforms.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies that improve its organic search rankings.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
You will work closely with marketing, content, and web development teams to ensure that the digital presence aligns with the fashion brand's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and Implement SEO Strategies :
- Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that improve organic search performance on our e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and Shopify.
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities and gaps relevant to girls' ballet and women's activewear.
- Optimize website content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance :
- Track, report, and analyze website metrics and SEO performance.
- Provide actionable insights to improve ranking and increase web traffic on both Amazon and Shopify.
- On-Page and Off-Page Optimization :
- Implement on-page SEO techniques such as meta tags, header tags, URL structure, and image optimization.
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies including link-building and outreach.
- Technical SEO :
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure best practices are effectively implemented in new design features.
- Perform ongoing technical SEO audits and troubleshooting.
- Content Collaboration :
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into content creation and marketing.
- Provide SEO guidance to content creators to produce high-quality, search-friendly content.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends :
- Stay informed about the latest SEO, digital marketing trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
- Educate the wider team on SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications :
Essential skills, experience, and qualifications required to apply :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven SEO experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and etc.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
Nice-to-have (but not required) skills, experience, and qualifications :
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Shopify, WordPress).
- Experience with optimizing for Amazon's search algorithms (A9) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
