We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at Marco's Pizza. Assistant Managers play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success and growth of Marco's Pizza.
The responsibilities we give you are as follows-
Customer Service
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that all customers receive outstanding service and leave with a positive impression of Marco's Pizza.
Team Management
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff members, including shift leads, insiders, and delivery drivers.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Food Preparation and Quality Control
- Oversee food preparation to ensure that all pizzas and other menu items are prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain food freshness, taste, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
Operations Management
- Assist the General Manager in daily operational tasks, such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and bank deposits.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and company policies.
- Handle scheduling, shift assignments, and labor management to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Sales and Marketing
- Actively promote sales and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Assist in implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Participate in community events and initiatives to increase brand visibility and engagement.
These are some of the things we look for and require in an Assistant Manager-
- Valid Driver's License, Insurance, Food Handler's Certificate, and TABC.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using POS systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
