Job Summary : JOB SUMMARY

JOB SUMMARY

  • Reporting to the Chief Operating / Nursing Officer; provides project management, strategic support, tactical support and facilitation;
  • ensures progress on goals by assuming day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks; creates and maintains cross-departmental relationships;

is a strategist, consultant, and implementer.

The successful candidate for this position will have a master's degree and 7 years of nursing experience.

This is an on-site position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Chief Operating / Nursing Officer in tracking administrative programs, projects and activities.
  • Develops and maintains project tracking plans.
  • Prepares documents and materials for Hospital Executive Administration Team meetings and retreats.
  • Prepares presentations.
  • Prepares speaking points for presentations.
  • Provides data management and analysis.
  • Performs financial analysis in collaboration with Financial Manager and Quality Data Manager.
  • Consolidates data from applicable stakeholders into summary format.
  • Collaborates with Hospital executives regarding data analysis for entity wide projects.
  • Provides comprehensive support for entity wide projects.
  • Performs analysis related to projects.
  • Participates in process improvements related to projects.
  • Documents progress of projects.
  • Communicates progress of projects.
  • Makes presentations regarding progress toward goals.
  • Accepts accountability for personal and professional growth and contributes to the advancement of health care administration.
  • Participates in professional and continued learning activities and shares knowledge with colleagues.
  • Shows evidence of meeting annual professional goals which are established in collaboration with the Executive Leader.
  • Utilizes feedback from colleagues regarding interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Participates in goal setting processes with the Hospital Executive Administration Team.
  • Participates in the formation of the philosophy, goals and objectives of the institution.
  • Participates in operational and capital budgeting processes.
  • Participates in the establishment of tools to measure progress toward goals.
  • Develops tools to measure and monitor service standards utilizing key service dimensions, knowledge of patient / customer expectations and best practice data.
  • Consolidates service standards for departments.
  • Monitors performance against service standards.
  • Designs and maintains management dashboards of clinical and operational metrics to provide ongoing feedback on patient care, clinical and operational performance.
  • Prepares reports on clinical, operational, financial and service performance.
