Tool Room Technician

Twin City Staffing is seeking a skilled tool room technician for a 1st shift position from 6 : 50 am to 3 : 00 pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly, inspection, setup, and repair of tooling, with a focus on maintaining quality and efficiency.

Location : Plymouth, MN Hours : 6 : 50 am 3 pm, Monday Friday Wage : $18 / hr. Benefits of the tool room technician :

Key r esponsibilities of the tool room technician :

• Manage and organize production tools and accessories according to the Master Production Schedule
• Inspect tools before and after use to ensure proper condition
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tooling and tool systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools
• Keep accurate logs of tools and accessories, including location and status
• Implement the Tool Preventive Maintenance Program
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Comply with all ISO QSPs and relevant work instructions

Qualifications of the tool room technician :

• 1-2 years of experience in assembly, inspection, setup, repair, and troubleshooting of tooling and mechanical components
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read and follow production schedules
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
