The Position :

The Electrical Maintenance Technician's responsibilities include maintaining production line equipment to optimize run-ability through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machines, as well as improving and enhancing machine processes.

In addition, mechanics perform facility maintenance and repair. Works closely with the maintenance team to ensure optimal production performance and a clean, well-maintained facility.

We are hiring for two shifts, 5 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm and 2 : 30 pm - 11 : 00 pm . These positions will require the flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Position Responsibilities :

• Maintain the continuous operation of production line equipment by performing repairs, clearing jams, and adjusting. Alternate between multiple lines to ensure a balanced and ongoing presence.
• Respond to calls for maintenance on production lines.
• Perform preventative, planned, and breakdown maintenance on production lines and mechanical systems.
• Help change production codes on a daily basis and as needed.
• Works to ensure all machines are guarded properly.
• Assist in machine changeovers (webs, labelers, closure, etc.) coordinating with mixing and production department schedules.
• Operate air compressors and perform maintenance as required.
• Complete necessary paperwork in English including repair logs, work / part requests, etc.
• Follows ALL safety and GMP rules and guidelines.
• Apply LO / TO policies in accordance with OSHA Law.
• Assist with training new maintenance personnel as needed.
• Works with engineering on installations and upgrades.
• Performs any other duties assigned.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of mechanical / technical experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Electrical experience required.
• EPA / HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and irregular hours, such as weekends and nights, as needed.
• Must be comfortable with heights.
• Ability to lift at least 35lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Excellent Attention to detail.
• Basic math skills are required, including working accurately with formulas, conversions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Valid driver's license required.
