Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2025 Summer Intern - Operations Engineer. In this role, you will focus on waste elimination, production enabler management, and / or management system development / coaching.

The successful candidate will have experience and / or knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma techniques, business case development, project management, using statistical analysis, and gathering / analyzing data for presentations to leadership.

Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications :

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills :

• Lean / Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA / 5s / 6s, etc.)
• Experience with Business Case Development
• Experience with Project Management
• Experience with Statistical Analysis (Regression Analysis)
• Experience with Database Operations (Data Mining, SQL Statements)

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
