Zurich North America is currently hiring a Functional FS-CD SAP Consultant, and this person will work in our North America HQ in Schaumburg, IL.
He / She will report to the SAP Technical Manager.
Responsibilities :
The individual will be responsible for following business processes around Billing and Collection using SAP FS-CD for Insurance business :
- Open item accounting
- Payment processing
- Dunning
- Payment Lot
- Broker collections
- Correspondence
- Month End close and financial accounting.
- The consultant will create clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and out-of-the-box software functionality.
- Work with multi-functional / technical teams to prioritize the work and then drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs and co-ordinate with teams to get development moving.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
- He / she will lead full life cycle implementations of FS-CD and lead other projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area
Preferred Qualifications :
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in process implementation and optimization in the areas of Billing and Disbursement using SAP FS-CD for Insurance business.
- Multiple end-to-end project lifecycle experience within SAP FS-CD / FICO
- Must have a Financial Services and / or an accounting background for SAP FS-CD
- Team player who works well with technical and business resources
- Experience with 3 to 4 full life cycle implementations of FSCD
- Knowledge of FS-CD on S4 HANA
- Knowledge of integrations with SAP Reinsurance (FS-RI) and SAP FICO is a plus.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understands communication channels and escalates appropriately
- Strong initiative; able to self-manage
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working through it to get the right things done
