Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a Coordinator, Student Publications and Marketing. This pivotal role is situated within the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) Center for Student Engagement (CSE).

This Coordinator is a key part of the Associated Students of University of Nevada (ASUN) Center for Student Engagement CSE).

The position is responsible for advising four student media outlets that include a student run newspaper, literary journal, photo-journalism magazine and radio station.

This role coordinates the Student Media Board, that is made of up students, faculty and community members, supervises the marketing department that runs advertising for upcoming events, services and campaigns.

The marketing area includes graphic design, video production, social media and public relations. Lastly, this position monitors and supervises the contractual obligations, sales of advertising and collection of revenue in the student media.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR

Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience

Relaed Experience : In the fields of Journalism, Liberal Arts or Marketing or related experience.

Schedule and Licensure

Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within specified time period

Work flexible hours including some evening and weekend work
