The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Anchorage International Airport is looking for a full-time Communication and Public Relations Specialist.
Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is both dynamic and rewarding. This role involves crafting compelling narratives, managing communication strategies, and ensuring the smooth flow of information between the airport, stakeholders, and the public.
By combining creativity with a deep understanding of aviation, you’ll help maintain ANC’s stellar reputation and keep travelers well-informed, all while supporting Anchorage’s key transportation hub.

Under general direction from the Division Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the long-term planning of, and for developing, coordinating, and overseeing, several major airport-wide programs and projects.
This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of these programs and services for the entire Anchorage Airport. This includes : communications and public relations, the Lost & Found program, advertising, and business development program needs.
This position will also develop the airport internship program, as well as the workforce development outreach program promoting Anchorage Airport vacancies in all 5 components at the airport.
