POSITION TITLE : Quality Assurance Analyst

REPORTS TO : Quality Assurance Director

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Responsible for supporting CRT’s compliance with agency standards / systems, funder, regulations and / or accrediting body regulations.

Supports an agency quality assurance system and team that promotes high program standards, excellence and client satisfaction.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor / audit programs and processes in accordance with agency, funder, accrediting, licensing and / or regulatory requirements.
  • Assists administrative and program departments with funding and government regulations, contract requirements, agency policies and standards.
  • Coordinates and prepares programs for funder and accrediting body monitoring evaluation and audits. Participates in internal and external monitoring and quality audits.
  • Conducts routine internal audits and reviews to ensure ongoing and effective compliance.
  • Works with agency leadership to improve internal controls and compliance.
  • Provides written and verbal reports on compliance status.
  • Remain knowledgeable about program, funder and accrediting standards to ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for the Quality Assurance Department.
  • Conducts program audits and case file reviews of CRT’s STEPs Case Management and CAPTAIN Energy Assistance systems to monitor data quality and accuracy.
  • Work with program managers and supervisors to implement corrective action plans supporting the data quality in the STEPs Case Management system and CAPTAIN Energy Assistance system.
  • Assists with orientation and in-service training to staff on the use of the STEPs Case Management system
  • Assists with monitoring and review of data collection processes to ensure quality data. Documents that data collection processes and data entry are being implemented according to agency standards.

Prepares and develops reports and analysis of data.

  • Provide administrative support to program and administrative staff related to multiple agency data systems, including but not limited to case management system and Energy Assistance.
  • Coordinate annual agency risk assessment. Provide support to management in identifying and addressing risks identified.
  • Assists the Director with the formulation, implementation and monitoring of corrective actions to ensure program improvement including but not limited to policy / procedure development and review;

systems development and review; and tracking the implementation of corrective actions providing follow-up as needed with program staff.

Assists in the development of how-to manuals including reviewing and revising program and agency policies and procedures.

Create new policies and procedures, as needed.

Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends as necessary.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Policy or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience : Three (3) year of’ experience in a public or non-profit social services or public health agency performing work in one or more of the following areas : regulatory compliance, quality assurance, case management, or health or social services information management.

Skills : Must be detailed oriented, able to work independently, and with others from various economic educational background and racial / ethnic, have excellent verbal and written skills, be an effective communicator.

Must have Internet research skills and ability to learn funder specific software. Prioritize work and meet deadlines. Recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel).

Active driver license in good standing required upon hire and throughout employment. Some use of personal vehicle required.
