Our nursing home in New Jersey is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Admissions Director to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare admissions, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Admissions Director Responsibilities :
- Oversee the entire admissions process for prospective residents.
- Conduct tours of the facility for potential residents and their families.
- Evaluate and process admission applications to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, hospital discharge planners, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Provide ongoing support and information to residents and their families throughout the admission process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to ensure a steady flow of admissions.
- Prepare and present reports on admissions activities and outcomes to senior management.
Admissions Director Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field.
- Experience in admissions or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to admissions in a nursing home setting.
