As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll provide electrical engineering support for our popular line of Vertical Form, Fill, & Seal machines as well as packaging line automation offerings.
You’ll be responsible for the Electrical Bills of Material for specific machine models and generating pre-order lists for the materials management team to ensure on-time machine completion.
With your excellent communication skills and technical experience, you’ll develop great internal and external customer relationships and confidence in the solutions you present.
Are you excited about this work?
- Create Bills of Material (BOM), Electrical drawings, Panel layout assembly diagrams.
- Check & validate all final design documentation, parts lists and assist with user manual details.
- Review and respond to customer specifications.
- Write or Modify PLC and HMI code.
- Troubleshoot electrical and software automation issues.
- Provide construction and power up support.
- Collaborate with Sales, Mechanical Engineering, Productions and Service.
- Participate in necessary project and product meetings.
- Demonstrate and assist with machine testing as needed (Including customer Factory Acceptance Tests).
- Occasional travel to customer site for machine / line start up (less than 15% typical).

- 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
- BS in Electrical Engineering Technology, or associate degree with equivalent experience.
- Experience with communications networks.
- Studio 5000 Rockwell experience is required, PanelView ME & SE is also needed.
- Servo system design and programming experience would be preferred.
- Ability to design in a UL508A compliance environment.
- Good knowledge of North American electrical standards for equipment manufacturing.
- Preference for individuals with packaging industry controls experience.
