Insight Global - Director of IAM - Branford, Connecticut
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Identity Governance to sit fully remote. The Director of Identity & Access Management (IAM) plays a crucial leadership role within the organization, responsible for establishing and overseeing a robust IAM strategy.
This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management policies, processes, and technologies to ensure the security and integrity of organizational assets.
The director will lead a talented team in designing and executing IAM initiatives, aligning them with business objectives, and fostering a secure and efficient digital environment.

Key responsibilities include :
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and compliance requirements.
- Establish and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and standards to mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Continuously assess and update IAM policies in response to evolving threats and changes in the business landscape.
- Operate cutting-edge IAM technologies and solutions to meet the organization's security and access control requirements.
- Integrate IAM solutions seamlessly with existing systems and applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments related to identity and access management, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
Skills and Requirements :
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years in a cybersecurity role focused on Identity & Access Management.
- Extensive experience in managing and leading teams responsible for IAM solutions and services.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM systems and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure secure access to organizational resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or equivalent work experience. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred.
