The Role :

Our site in Chaska is seeking a / an Capital Project Coordinator Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

A Capital Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of capital projects.

They are responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

In this role you will :

• Coordinate project details with project leaders and project team including material procurement and tracking, assisting with project documentation, executing and managing invoicing efforts, coordinating key project milestones, tracking and posting of project deliverables, documenting open action items, and other project support as needed.
• Project Coordination
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for capital projects.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved as necessary.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Prepare regular status reports and updates for management and stakeholders.
• Business Portfolio Process
• Establish a post project review cycle with capital portfolio owners.
• Implement consistent reporting between capital portfolios.
• Identify gaps in training, propose improvements, create training material as required.

You're a good fit if you have :

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools including intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
• Ability to offer solutions for process improvements
• Ability to accurately track, troubleshoot and problem solve
• Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills

Outstanding Candidates Will Have :

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools including advanced Excel skills
• Experience with MS Project, SmartSheets, Oracle, or other scheduling software.
• Pursuing PMO certification.
