Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Electrical BIM Specialist 1, we'll count on you to :
- Create electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, and control systems.
- Develop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD under the direct supervision of other Electrical BIM Specialists or Engineers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting, and detailing.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Good working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
- Previous experience with an architectural / engineering or engineering consulting firm is desired
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing lighting systems, power systems, and control systems for building projects.
- Experience with an architectural / engineering or engineering consulting firm highly desirable.
- Preference given to local candidates.
- Healthcare, Data Center, Science and Technology and / or Civic facilities experience
