POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of surveillance equipment, with infrequent assistance;
possess extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of surveillance equipment repair; provide training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic surveillance equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
Replace / repair parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions.
May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.
May be given occasional assignments to provide training to lesser experienced technicians or trainees.
Maintain skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions.
Inspect and perform general and preventive maintenance of surveillance equipment and installation.
Assist with the planning and placement of new camera and equipment.
Install new cameras and surveillance equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
- Must have experience with network administration, systems programming and experience troubleshooting a closed network
- Ability to be physically mobile, and stand / walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and 1 year electronics repair or related experience or through an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
