We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team. The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for curating menus, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, upholding the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

Collaborate with the restaurant owners on menu development, emphasizing traditional Korean techniques, ingredients, and presentations.

Create seasonal dishes and specials while maintaining quality and consistency of existing menu items.

Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation; staff scheduling; ordering supplies;

and inventory management. Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Recruit, train, and lead the kitchen team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Effectively delegate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Manage the restaurant’s financial performance including food and labor cost control and assist in budget development.
  • Work closely with management to review performance metrics and financial reports, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to drive success.

Qualifications :

  • Food safety and sanitation certified
  • At least 5 years of experience in Asian cuisine. Experience in Korean cuisine is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and kitchen management skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
