Description
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Transportation Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all aspects of inter-company and intra-company transportation operations.
The Transportation Coordinator is a highly organized professional that is able to interrupt transfer requests and schedule drivers across all JX locations.
This is a high paced position requiring the applicant to be able to work effectively under time constraints.
Essential Responsibilities for the Transportation Coordinator :
- Assist the Operations Manager with the companys daily parts distribution system to multiple locations located in WI, IL, IN, & MI
- Assist the Operations Manager with DOT compliance to ensure the safety of the public as well as JX Enterprises associates.
- Assist the Operations Manager with the maintenance and life cycle of company vehicles.
- Communicate any change in schedule or delivery delays to the organization.
- Assist the Operations Manager with interstate movements of new, used and rental trucks across multiple locations.
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
- Post high school education preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in transportation, logistics, or related field required.
- Class A CDL, or ability to obtain, required
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills in dealing with management level employees and internal customers.
- Demonstrated communication skills in face-to-face, phone and email.
- Working knowledge of Heavy Duty Trucks preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills including Google Apps
