Sr. Proposal Writer- Public Sector

We are currently seeking a Sr. Proposal Writer to join IPS. Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative) : A Proposal Writer specializes in creating structured, well-organized proposals to win new business or gain support for projects in the Public Sector market.

This resource will work closely with various teams within an organization to gather the necessary information for writing compelling proposals.

Their duties and responsibilities include : Understand and interpret proposal instructions and requirements in prospective clients' RFPs.

Conduct extensive research to understand the project or business opportunity in detailWork closely with subject matter experts to gather necessary informationWrite clear, persuasive, and concise proposalsEdit and revise proposals based on feedbackMaintain and manage a library of proposal content for future useEnsure all deadlines are met and proposals are submitted on timeCoordinate with graphic designers to incorporate necessary visuals in the proposalKeep updated on public sector industry trends to address potential client concerns or questions effectivelyReview and evaluate proposal feedback to improve future submissionsParticipate in presentations or discussions with clients when requiredRequired years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance : 7+ years of experience in developing proposals for the public sector.

Knowledge of IT Services and US / Canada Government RFPs and proposal processes.Fluent in English and experienced in proposal development and technical writing.

Educational Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education, Candidates that have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
