OVERVIEW
As Vice President of Marketing at Soko Glam, you will spearhead our dynamic marketing and merchandising teams, driving strategic initiatives that propel our brand forward.
In this role, you will manage comprehensive marketing operations including performance marketing, brand campaigns, social media, creative direction, CRM, and loyalty programs.
Your expertise will also extend to overseeing the merchandising team, emphasizing an integrated approach to marketing. This pivotal position demands a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on tactical work, essential for leading a nimble and impactful team within our vibrant beauty company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and promotional plans to boost revenue, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
Manage the full P&L for marketing categories, overseeing budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies to meet financial targets and enhance profitability.
Lead the rolling brand and product launch calendar, collaborating closely with Product Development and other departments to ensure seamless and effective market introductions.
Drive continuous analysis and optimization of category performance and SKU productivity, making strategic decisions on product support or discontinuation.
Utilize advanced analytics to identify growth opportunities in fast-moving categories, deploying targeted strategies to expand market share.
Foster a high-performance culture within the marketing and merchandising teams, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.
Champion the brand's digital marketing strategies, utilizing cutting-edge techniques and channels to connect with customers and enhance the consumer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 18 years of marketing experience, including significant leadership roles that encompass both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Profound knowledge across all marketing domains, especially in digital marketing and data-driven decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
Exceptional analytical capabilities, with a talent for translating intricate data into strategic actions.
Stellar communication skills, adept at engaging with various audiences, from team members to executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that have significantly increased revenue and brand presence.
Must have a deep understanding of the beauty industry, consumer trends, and market dynamics.
Prior experience in scaling a brand is highly advantageous.
In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position :
The estimated annual pay range for this role is $180,000-$240,000.
There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.
