Troubleshoots equipment using mechanical knowledge, equipment specification sheets, and manufacturer literature in order to restore to operation.
Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, alignment etc.) to fit bearings, align gears, shafts, couplings, belts, and set equipment to precise tolerances.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance tasks, documents findings / repairs / materials for equipment history, and executes process and safety critical jobs.
- Disassembles, cleans, inspects, repairs and reassembles equipment such as pumps, blowers, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, agitators, and other various industrial equipment

The essential functions of this role include :
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
- working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
