Part Time - Flexible Schedule

We all wear many hats and we work collaboratively to get things done and ensure that our students and their families are thrilled by their learning experience.
The Job :

You can work anywhere from 1 day to 5 days a week teaching a science workshops during the afternoon and / or weekends.
We provide ALL supplies, equipment and curriculum to teach the EASY, yet fun science classes. Most of our Jr. Scientists are in K-5th grade, you'll teach basic science concepts in a fun and engaging way.
What will you do?
You will drive to a school,daycare or park and rec (we offer a mileage reimbursement plan)
You will lead a one hour exciting, immersive and interactive science lesson (after a lot of paid training so that you feel totally comfortable in all ways)
Pay :
Instructing $18 - $22.50 per hour (1 hour classes are paid at a minimum of 2 hours!)
Most days you will work 1, maybe 2 programs per day. A typical instructor will work 3-10 hours per week, depending on availability.
Extra hours may be available in our office and on weekends conducting programming let us know if you'd like more hours and we can discuss.
PS-we also loan you a cool lab coat to wear too! (you'll be a science rockstar)
