Responsibilities
Assists clinical staff during patient care activities in the administration of rehabilitative procedures and treatments of various types of geriatric, adult, adolescent, child and infant patients.
Duties include : preparation / restoration of treatment areas and equipment; maintaining adequate supply levels through inventory monitoring and ordering;
checking equipment used for safety standards, assisting front office personnel and other duties as assigned.
The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
- Must have 1 year of physical or occupational therapy aide experience.
PREFERRED
Prior patient care experience in the hospital environment as a PT / OT Aide.
Work Hours : 8am-4 : 30pm
8am-4 : 30pm
Weekend Requirements :
