JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a skilled UX Writer to join our London office for a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting clear, user-friendly text for our products, ensuring technical concepts are accessible without jargon.
The ideal candidate will act as a pivotal resource within the team, enhancing our internal content and contributing to our information architecture, all while working closely with cross-functional partners to refine and improve our communication strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Write clear, concise user-interface text for products, making complex, technical concepts easily understandable.
- Design and improve longer-form content, including internal resources, guidelines, and standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for UX writing, assisting and advising the team as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to ensure cohesive product messaging.
- Provide constructive feedback on existing content, including editorial suggestions and improvements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work closely with design, engineering, research, and product management teams.
- Experience with Product based UX writing style and / or Material Design, or similar standards.
Industry Experience Required :
At least 5-7 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, online publishing, or journalism, with preference given to candidates with mobile content delivery experience and familiarity with the software development process.
