We are seeking an experienced Program Managerto lead efforts supporting the Space Systems Command BattleManagement Command Control and Communications (SSC / BC) portfolio.
In this Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) role in El Segundo CAthe essential job functions will include but may not be limitedto :
Work on highvisibility mission criticalprograms and perform all functional duties independently.
Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and / or be responsible forthe efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contractrequirements and ensure technical schedule cost and financialperformance.
Ability to understand complex cost scheduleand performance data and make simple actionable recommendations oreasily differentiated courses of action.
Lead efforts tobuild and manage acquisition documentation interface withcontracting and financial managers and lead programexecution.
Qualifications Required(Skills)
BS / BA with more than 18 years ofexperience; MS / MA with more than 16 years; PHD or JD with more than8 years
Experience with successful delivery of a programto a customer or manage performance of a task or project as part ofa larger program under direction of another PM.
Experience managing the balance of technical schedule cost andfinancial performance on large program(s).
Extensiveknowledge of Department of Defense operations andpolicies.
Can guide and direct the internalcrossfunctional team.
Experience developingprogramspecific processes procedures techniques or tools.
Requires systems engineering or detailed technical approachinvolving trade studies risk mitigation or complexschedule.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (oraland writing) skills.
Must have experience in usingcritical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations fordecision makers.
MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM A CURRENT TOPSECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS / SCI CLEARANCEFOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.
