Maintenance Technician - Production Associate Position
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician - Production Associate is responsible for performing all duties related to scheduling and executing Preventative Maintenance.
This position will troubleshoot and resolve urgent issues related to malfunctioning equipment and machinery and work on the production line.

Organizational Interactions
Interacts with Production Manager, Production Supervisors, Production Team, QC Manager, QC Team, office personnel and external vendors.
Routine Work
- Perform highly diversified duties to maintain production machines and blending equipment.
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production and blending equipment during production.
- Work directly with the manufacturer to troubleshoot and fix problems in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance of production and blending equipment during downtime.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly workshop and tool area.
- Fix faulty machines, defective equipment and repair items for proper function.
- Maintain Apex automated bottle liquid filling lines with automated bottle fillers, conveyors, cap tighteners, RF Sealer, lot coders, Quadrel labelers and case tapers.
- Maintain Lyish and RCM Non-Woven Converting Machines and work with the manufacturer to resolve mechanical problems and problems with the electronics and the control panel.
- Maintain and service Leibinger Lot Coders. Schedule regular maintenance with subcontractor.
- Maintain EPak cannister liquid filling lines with automated fill machines, conveyors, cap sorters, cap elevators, cappers, PE Labellers Futura hot glue labelers, lot coders, case tapers, shrink bag machine, and heat shrink tunnel.
- Maintain Kansan Wet Wipe automated soft flat pack assembly line.
- Organize tools and maintain inventory of required equipment in the workshop.
- Create a catalog of parts. Organize the parts and maintain inventory of parts in the workshop.
- Work on the production line as needed.
- Schedule is Monday through Friday from 6am to 2 : 30pm
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good interpersonal skills : ability to actively listen, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Strong mechanical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of diaphragm pumps, recirculating pumps. Ability to troubleshoot and perform PMs.
- Work with the Reverse Osmosis water subcontractor to replace parts and maintain RO system.
- Basic knowledge of electrical with ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar work experience preferred.

- Prolonged periods of standing and walking for most of the working day (8-10 hour shift).
- Perform physical duties, including but not limited to bending, lifting, walking, crouching, and stooping.
- Working in manufacturing facility with high noise levels.
- Employee is exposed to wet / and or humid conditions.
- Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs repeatedly.
- Production and warehouse areas are hot during the summer and cold during the winter.
