About the Role
This position will be responsible for the interconnections of equipment both mechanically and electrically. They should have a strong understanding of equipment predictive maintenance and a background in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.
Identify root causes for equipment failures and eliminate these causes. Installation of services to equipment including (Transformer, Buss plug, conduit, raceway) to termination.
Installation of motor controls including cabinet build, sensor installation, motor starter and protection, and operator interface panels.
What You’ll Do
- Working with the supervisor to scope out installation for equipment (raw materials, timeline, resources, and specialized equipment.
- Working with Engineers on the design and functionality of new equipment
- Relocate equipment lines as needed.
- Responding to maintenance requests (ensuring production output and OEE)
- Performing preventative / predictive maintenance practices
- Utilizing NEC requirements for all installations
- Aiding in meeting ISO standards for installations
What You Bring
- Associates degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and / or experience
- 4-6+ years of related work experience
- Competent in hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hand saws etc.,)
- Handheld power tools (drills, saws, grinders etc.,)
- Able to understand both written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office)
- CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management system)
- Comfortable working at heights, confined and tight spaces, and inclement weather such as hot and cold areas.
- Troubleshoot and navigate HMIChanging parametersInstallation / set-up
- Installation and troubleshooting of variable frequency drivesSetting up parametersEstablishing drive enabled signalsSynchronizing load and multiple drive installation
- Motor control circuitsMotor starter and Overload protectionPLC / relay operation and troubleshooting (Siemans, AllenBradley, Beckoff)
