Position : Assistant Project Manager

This role is designed for those who have a solid foundation in fieldwork and are looking to transition into a project management career.

We value individuals with hands-on experience in the construction field, particularly those who are ready to leverage that background into managing large-scale site development projects.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Project Manager with daily operations, project coordination, and scheduling for various site development projects including excavation, utilities, drainage, and grading.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to ensure understanding of scope and deliverables.
• Support the management of subcontractors and vendors, helping to coordinate work schedules and ensuring compliance with project timelines.
• Monitor job site safety, quality, and productivity to ensure project goals are met.
• Participate in site visits and inspections, assisting with progress reporting and project documentation.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure smooth execution of project phases.
• Aid in managing budgets, change orders, and project costs alongside the Project Manager.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience working in the field in site development, excavation, utilities, drainage, or similar areas.
• Strong interest in transitioning to project management with the ability to learn and grow within the role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction project management software is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to be trained and mentored to eventually take on a Project Manager role.
