Are you a people person with a passion for building strategic partnerships? The Rainmaker Family is seeking a talented Brand Partnerships Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the formation, execution, and management of strategic brand partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying Opportunities and Deal Organization :
  • Market Research : Conduct thorough market research to identify strategic influencers, brand partnerships and joint venture collaboration opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.

This may look like high value podcasts, virtual stages, summits, physical stages, email newsletters, youtube or news features, influencer collaborations, etc.

  • Feasibility Studies : Assess the viability of potential brand partnerships through financial and operational analyses.
  • Database Management : Develop and maintain a detailed database of past, potential and current brand partners.
  • Outreach Strategy : Create structured approaches for outreach and follow-up.
  • Event Coordination : Plan and manage brand-related events, meetings, and projects to ensure smooth execution.
  • Partner Engagement :
  • Networking : Identify and engage with potential influencers, brand partners and strategic relationships through industry events, conferences, and online platforms.
  • Relationship Building : Foster strong, trust-based relationships with brand partners, understanding their business needs and aligning them with the company's objectives.
  • Facilitating Introductions : Connect brand partners with internal stakeholders to create synergy and enhance collaborative efforts.
  • Data Management, Tracking and Reporting :
  • Progress Monitoring : Track the progress of brand deals using CRM tools and ensure all activities are documented.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain detailed records of communications, agreements, and outcomes.
  • Reporting : Provide regular updates to executive leadership on brand activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  • Negotiation and Agreement :
  • Negotiation : Negotiate terms and agreements with brand partners to ensure mutual benefits.
  • Contract Management : Work closely with the legal team to finalize contracts and agreements.
  • Execution Oversight : Oversee the execution of brand projects, monitor post-deal performance, and ensure continuous improvement and value maximization.
  • Relationship Management :
  • Ongoing Communication : Maintain continuous communication with brand partners to ensure collaboration, address any issues promptly, and share ongoing results of the partnership.
  • Conflict Resolution : Handle any disputes or challenges that arise during the course of the brand partnership.

RESULTS

  • Network Expansion : Establish and manage a robust network of high-value brand partners contributing significantly to revenue growth.
  • 12 High Value Deal Closures in Year 1 : Successfully create a minimum of 3 high value brand partnerships each quarter, meeting or exceeding $100k per partnership.
  • 24 High Value Deal Closures in Year 2 : Successfully create a minimum of 6 high value brand partnerships each quarter, meeting or exceeding $100k per partnership.
  • Lead Generation : Increase the quality and quantity of leads generated through brand partnerships.
  • Partner Satisfaction : Maintain high levels of partner satisfaction and long-term engagement, ensuring mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience :
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, joint venture management, brand partnerships, affiliate management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing brand partnerships, strategic partnerships, or similar collaborative efforts.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing deals.
  • Strategic Thinking :
  • Ability to develop and implement brand partnership strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess partnership opportunities and evaluate potential returns.
  • Relationship Management :
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain long-term, high-quality relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Excellent Communicator :
  • Needs to be able to communicate effectively with Sales Management, Sales Team, and Sales Coordinators, both verbally and in writing.
  • Project Management :
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously.
  • Ability to track and report on the progress of brand partnerships, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

AGREEMENT TERMS

If for any reason you are unable to complete the duties outlined within your role or will be out for a certain period of time, let your direct report know as soon as possible to make proper arrangements.

  • Compensation :
  • Base Pay :
  • $65,000 annual salary
  • Monthly Bonus :
  • $1,000 Bonus for every $100,000 generated from brand partnerships.
  • Example : If you book us on a podcast that generates $200,000 of Revenue, you would earn an additional commission of $2,000 for that brand partnership (for context we did one higher tier podcast in early 2024 and it generated $255,000 YTD)
  • If you generate an additional $3,000,000 per year in revenue (1 brand partnership like the one mentioned above per month) in this role, that would be an additional $30,000 per year in commission for you.
  • Year 1 On Track Earnings with Example Above + Base Pay $95,000
  • Year 2 On Track Earnings at KPI + Base Pay $125,000
  • Weekly Meetings :
  • Minimum of Two 1hr Team Meetings
  • This is a full-time, 30 - 40 hour per week position.
  • This is a demanding position.
  • This position is remote. You will have the freedom to work from anywhere.
  • You may request time off anytime.
  • You will also be expected to complete your daily tasks every day, Monday-Friday.
  • You will also be expected to be available to communicate through Slack 8 am-5 pm PST daily.
