VEHICLE INVENTORY MANAGER

Join Dahl Auto as a Vehicle Inventory Manager (Buyer), working with both Dahl Ford and Dahl Honda, located off Theatre Road in Onalaska! In this important position that directly contributes to the success of the dealership, you will purchase and stock appropriate inventory levels in relation to sales volume.

Work with sales managers and General Managers through this process. You will also appraise vehicles, manage vehicle inventory and other related duties.

• Purchase and stock appropriate inventory levels in relation to sales volume
• Do not let frontline inventory levels fall below 100 units
• Arrange transportation of auction purchased vehicles
• Communicate with office on purchases
• Appraise vehicles for sales
• Manage title flow of purchases to office
• Work with auction house if titles are not delivered on time
• Manage inventory through reconditioning system
• Keep recon turn under 3 days
• Authorize shop repairs
• Spot check shop for accuracy of repairs and shop quotes
• Merchandise reconditioned inventory
• Sticker windshield to company policy
• Make sure Buyers Guide is displayed in rear window and filled out correctly
• Complete storybook including; Carfax, Inspection, ROs, Wisconsin Buyers Guide
• Update vAuto
• Update descriptions for website syndication
• Make sure price changes dont go longer than 7 days between changes
• Monitor age of inventory buckets
• Adjust pricing in relation to market conditions
• Manage wholesale vehicles
• Arrange sale of wholesale vehicles
• Monitor different wholesale avenues and venues
• Keep an accurate log of wholesale transaction and deliver them to GSM and GM for review weekly
• Communicate with office personnel in relation to status of titles

Qualifications

• Keep Frontline ready inventory above 100 vehicles at all times
• Keep Recon turn to less than 3 days
• Do not let identified auction wholesale units beyond 30 days old
• Do not allow inventory units to age beyond 75 days
• Hold Wholesale loss to less than $2000 monthly
• Purchase enough auction vehicles to supplement our inventory to keep pace with market conditions
• Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
• Valid State driver's license with clean driving record
