Workday Payroll and Time Module Lead
Provides technical expertise on IT service operations, practices and costs for a large client or a client group.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Represent and manage the overall TIAA Workday Payroll and Time Tracking product strategy for a rolling 18 months.
- Plan, manage and deliver both Payroll Business As Usual (BAU) items as well as key Payroll project efforts across internal and external teams.
Communicate to leadership any risks or issues associated with delivery.
- Be accountable and manage SDLC modifications for Payroll delivery across multiple areas of Configuration, Integrations, Conversion and Reporting activities.
- Manage dependencies and downstream impacts of payroll projects to minimize adverse effects on the system and business processes.
- Provide final approval of technical requirements documentation to ensure documentation is aligned to the functional requirements and meets SDLC testing standards.
- Create estimations and allocation of resources for specific Payroll tasks.
- Support Workday Inbound / Outbound integrations for Payroll where needed.
- Identify opportunities for system reuse and system simplification in Workday Payroll.
- Communicate with functional business users and technical resources.

University (Degree) Preferred

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Workday HCM
- 4+ years experience implementing Workday Payroll
- Certification in Workday Payroll or Workday Pro Payroll
Preferred Qualifications
- American Payroll association (APA) or Certified Payroll Processional (CPP) desired.
- Four year degree in HR, Business or IT
- Experience 3+ Workday Payroll Deployments
- Knowledge and understanding of Payroll best practices.
- Workday Pro Time Tracking Certification or Workday Time Tracking Certification is desired.

Base Pay Range : $114,800 / yr. - $163,500 / yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
