gpac is working with a client company near beautiful coastal North Carolina seeking a Maintenance and Engineering Manager !
The company manufactures and distributes frozen and pureed fruits and vegetables, and is the largest, sweet potato fry manufacturer in the US! With just shy of 200 employees, this company has steadily grown during its 5+ years of successful business.
The facility is state of art, with innovative equipment and brand-new construction starting on the fry plant!
The primary objective of this position is to direct the activities of the maintenance, engineering and environmental affairs departments through the managers, supervisors, operators, mechanics, technicians as well as third party contractors to meet all aspects of the operating plan under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
The company is seeking someone with proficient skills in leadership, maintenance (including electrical systems), engineering and an entrepreneurial mind-set.
